Audi's double deal, mobile apps via Bluetooth marketing in Paris

Audi executed successful bluetooth marketing campaign at Paris Motor Show 2008. In total 8 bluetooth hotspots were installed under the new Audi models and the broadcasted the Audi mobile app to all people that opted-in. The idea was to offer push and pull marketing to build the Audi CRM database and leave a memory of the Audi in user mobile phone.

The mobile app included movie clip from the not yet launched "Transporters" movie, image gallery and request a brochure feature. Even months after the event Audi still received brochure requests from the people that had gotten the app.

Closer magazine mobile app sees the light in France

Closer is popular magazine and has very popular mobile site too. When Mondadori Digital, the publisher of Closer, wnated to give something more to users as mobile app, Geniem was called to help. As games are always the #1 mobile apps downloaded it was decided to to that direction. Especially engaging Trivia games appeal to both male and females unlike arcade based games are usually more "boys stuff".

The Closer Trivia features downloadable question packs with 15 questions each. The score is determined by how fast the question is answered. User can also pause the game and continue later where he left of, this is especially great feature for mobile people that might be playing while waiting for a bus for example, and then continue in the bus.

Closer Trivia is distributed via operator portals and also via SMS request to a short number.

Belgium TV channel VT4 launches mobile app

VT4 wanted to communicate to their mobile target group and decided to launch rich mobile app to provide immedeate access to VT4 offering while away from TV. The app features news, horoscopes, competition, downloadable content and EPG for quick access to see what's on the channel now.

The agency responsible is Geniem premium partner, Bluetalk in Belgium.
